Dactyl Nigtmare ©

Dactyl Nightmare: One of the most common games on the 1000CS system.

System 1000SU and 1000CS units. Commodore Amiga 3000 based.
Year of release 1991 (SU unit - 1000CS was released in 1992)
Controls Space Joystick.
Tracker Polhemus Fastrack with 2 receivers
Max. Players 1-4 :- 1 vs CPU, teams or deathmatch. One player per machine - locally networked.
Game Description Multi-Level game area, where the aim of the game is to shoot oppeonent(s) more times than they shoot you, thus getting the higher score. The Pterodactyl will attack you, when you have made 8 shots.
You can shoot the `Birdy` when it attacks to save your time. If it catches you, it will lift you up, and drop you to your death.
The game gives you unlimited lives, as its a timed game.
There is also a Capture the Flag mode.
Facts about the game The Pterodactyl flying animation program code was orignally used to fly a Seagull on test software for the 1000SU

Hero:A Virtual Reality Puzzle Game.

Game Description Hero is a combat-free game, that requires you to figure out puzzles in one of four different scenes. In each scene there is a letter that you need to collect. Collecting the lettes from all four areas, spell out H.E.R.O, and if you can complete the game in 4 minutes or less, then you are the HERO!

Legend Quest: Where Fantasy becomes Reality.

Game Description A `Dungeons and Dragons` style game with three difficulty settings. The player chooses their challenge and if they beat their way through each level, being successful will reward the player with extra time to help complete the next stage.

The mission is to rid the land, Khela Roth, of the god Nar-Gadrin, and return him from where he came from. You can choose to play a Nobel Elf, a True Hearted Human or a Treasure loving Dwarf, each character possesing their own skills that help complete the mission.

Exorex ©

Exorex: Fight for your Freedom!

System 1000SD units. Commodore Amiga 3000 based.
Year of release 1991
Controls Twin Joystick and pedals - although some versions used pedals and a steering wheel, with a T-stick gearshift.

Max. Players 1-4 :- 1 vs CPU deathmatch. One player per machine - locally networked.
Game Description The year is 2068.
Justice is harsh on the New Frontier.
Convicted criminals are shipped out to the combat zone, to participate in trial by lethal combat.
You control a mechanized War-Robot, hunting down the opponents to fight for victory. Beware as you are also being hunted.
Only the last survivor is granted freedom!
Facts about the game The game was originally going to be called Walker, but due to requests of management, the name was changed to Exorex.
This change took a while, so in the meantime, the game was launched as Heavy Metal. The `HM` logo still shows in the game.

VTOL ©

VTOL: Vertical Take Off and Landing. A combat flight simluator.

System 1000SD units. Commodore Amiga 3000 based.
